Cross-Asset Market Intelligence
Open a stock detail page and its Overview tab to find Cross-Asset Market Intelligence. The four panels connect the central stock to sector peers, selected commodities and physical assets. These links are research context, not trading recommendations.
III. Related Companies
This panel selects companies in the same broad category and subcategory as the central stock, excludes the central ticker and shows up to five peers in descending market-cap order. Filtering happens before the five-company limit. Sector Networking and the separate Competitors tab retain their broader sector selection.
II. Commodity & Macro
Explicit rules map stock subcategories to commodity subcategories. The names need not match: gas_producers maps to natural_gas, gold_mining to precious_metals, and fertilizers_chemicals to chemicals. Up to four instruments appear, using rule priority followed by catalog sort order.
The stock catalog supplies subcategory metadata when an API quote omits it. Commodity metadata comes from active Supabase commodity_assets rows. category_key is the broad sector; category_sub_key is the specific commodity group. Stock and commodity classifications are separate.
Keys currently require exact spelling, including lowercase and underscores. Spaces, capitalization changes and typos are not automatically normalized. There is no fuzzy matching or company-specific product mapping: gold_mining selects the precious_metals group, not gold alone.
Missing matches never substitute Brent, an arbitrary quote or a market index. Stock groups without configured commodity exposure, including banks and software, show an empty state. Despite the panel name, dedicated macro-factor selection is not implemented.
Prices use catalog currency rather than a fixed RUB label; the headline also displays its measurement unit when supplied. A provider quote can be supplemented by stored history. Classification changes do not create feeds, convert historical prices or prove price correlation.
Catalog changes and troubleshooting
Keep IDs and slugs stable when editing classification. The catalog is cached for five minutes, so edits may not appear immediately. If an instrument is absent, check is_active, the exact category_sub_key, the stock subcategory rule and whether a quote or history exists. An empty panel is not a zero price.
